Contest is scheduled to be in a Mac Lab 2-098 @ south city campus (the web design classroom)
8 teams can use the computers 4 teams will need to bring laptops. Contact Melinda.mansouri@jordandistrict.org if your team needs one of the stations. These are first come first serve. Teams typically bring laptops with image editing software and coding software. Pre-Contest Meeting Thursday at 5:30 pm The theme is announced at the pre-contest meeting. (Resumes are turned in, HTML & CSS Knowledge test is given, and the contest problem is introduced) Teams are welcome to create the high-fidelity mockup of the website on Thursday evening. All media assets are provided. The topic is different each year and is typically a website for a business. Example of a high-fidelity mockup from my school contest. jatcwebsouth.org/2022skillsusateam4/design.html Teams should be set up and ready to code starting at 8 am All code needs to be done during the competition. Students can utilize JS libraries but must comment on any code that is not original. Original Graphics are allowed but not required and must be created during the competition. My advice is to have your team practice coding a website and working together to produce a home page and 1 additional page in the short amount of time given for the contest. scorecardshd-webdesign-s.xlsx.pdf Please contact melinda.mansouri@jordandistrict.org with additional questions.
