​All contestants are required to sign this document:
2023 SkillsUSA Utah Leadership and Skills Conference Participation Agreement. Submissions due by Friday March 17th. 
​*If not properly signed and dated, this form will be returned, and the student will not be allowed to participate in the SkillsUSA Utah conference events. All participants must submit this properly completed, signed, and dated form to participate.

2023 ULSC GENERAL REGULATIONS 

Any questions you have about our state conference is most likely in this document. 

GENERAL SCHEDULE AND MAPS

Parking Info: March 23rd and 24th: There are no ticket days on the following campuses: Redwood, Westpointe, South City and Miller. All guests will need to park in Student Parking. These are yellow lined areas. If anyone parks in a pay lot, they will be responsible for the fees/ticket.

SCORECARDS

The Scorecards used at ULSC this year (2023) may differ slightly from the Scorecards last year (2022) available by clicking the button above due to logistics, available equipment, etc.  but we strive to align our State Contests as closely as possible to the National Contests.

2022-2023 TECHNICAL STANDARDS NOW AVAILABLE

  • PLEASE follow the  Virtual Technical Standards for each contest.
  • We cannot stress this enough.  The judges follow the Technical Standards as close as possible when scoring to best prepare students for Nationals.
  • SkillsUSA has made changes to some of the Technical Standards from Previous years. Be sure to download the CURRENT technical standards. Instructions for where to locate them are available through SkillsUSA Absorb. 
  • Advisors must be registered as a Professional Member of SkillsUSA to have access to the technical standards.
  • Clothing Requirements can also be found though the Technical Standards page.

Official SkillsUSA Competition Clothing is required. Please see following documents for more information.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Fee Payment Option 1: (Pay by check) 
Print three copies of the invoice. One copy should stay in the school advisor files. One copy will stay with your school/institution/LEA finance office. The third copy must be included with a check made payable to SkillsUSA Utah for the total amount shown on the invoice.

Fee Payment Option 2: (Pay by credit card over the phone) 
Print a copy of the conference registration invoice, call the SkillsUSA Utah Finance Officer, Jennifer Streker, at 801-540-4342, and she will accept your payment over the phone. Please note that there will be a 3% service fee added to all over-the-phone credit card payments. If you need to communicate with Jennifer Streker via email, her email address is: [email protected].

New Fee Payment Option 3: (Pay by credit card through QuickBooks) 
A conference registration invoice will be sent via email to the advisor through QuickBooks. Use your credit card to pay online. (No service fee). If you don’t get an invoice within a few days of registering, please call or email Jennifer Streker, and she will email the invoice to you. 801-540-4342 or [email protected]
