*Both Membership AND Event/Contest Registration are completed on the NATIONAL WEBSITE, but are Separate Processes. Both MEMBERSHIP AND CONTEST REGISTRATION must be completed in order to compete.

Complete the following steps to register for the Utah Leadership & Skills Competition:

Step 1:
If not completed already, Register all competitors as MEMBERS of SkillsUSA first. Membership registration is a SEPARATE PROCESS from event registration. Click the button below and/or watch the YouTube video for Membership Registration Instructions:
Step 2: 
Complete Conference Registration for Utah Leadership and Skills Conference (ULSC) Participants. Click the button below for Conference Registration instructions:
  • Alternates are registered as MEMBERS ONLY. They are not registered as a contestant.
  • Models are also registered as MEMBERS ONLY. They are not registered as a contestant.
  • DO NOT FORGET TO CLICK 'SUBMIT REGISTRATION' once Advisor and Student Registration has been completed. If you do not click 'Submit Registration', and invoice has not been generated and the registration process is not complete.​
  • You will not be allowed to register a student to compete until they are a Joined Member of SkillsUSA before the membership deadline.
  • Register a few additional students as Members of SkillsUSA to utilize at alternates. Life happens, and we do not want teams disqualified because one team member drops out, etc.
  • All SkillsUSA Advisors should register as Professional Members. Only through a Joined, Paid, Professional Membership will advisors have access to the Technical Standards for Contests.
