Available awards Advisor of the Year: The SkillsUSA Advisor of the Year program recognizes Professional members who actualize the organization's mission of empowering students to become world-class workers, leaders, and responsible American citizens. A SkillsUSA chapter is only successful with the support of an Advisor who has dedicated themselves to career and technical education by intentionally integrating the SkillsUSA Framework and ensuring students can articulate the skills they have developed. Pillars of Success: This award recognizes the achievements of volunteers who have contributed time, talent, and financial support to the SkillsUSA state association. Their generous support of the State SkillsUSA association serves as one of the pillars of success for SkillsUSA and will be honored. The award is to be given to no more than two individuals per year. Cornerstone Award: This award was established to recognize and celebrate the cooperative relationships that have been established between local school administrators and SkillsUSA chapters. The success of each chapter is reliant on the collective efforts of many dedicated school administrators who have unselfishly committed their professional and civic talents in support of our students. This award is to be given each year to as many as four superintendents, principals, assistant principals, guidance counselors, school board members or school personnel whose support of the local chapter and the state association has had great impact. Hall of Champions Award: This award is an honor bestowed upon those who have dedicated their lives, at a state level, to helping youth develop the components of the SkillsUSA Framework (personal, workplace and technical skills grounded in academics) necessary to be successful in a changing world. Their legacy in the state will continue far beyond their career. Overall, these individuals are those whose support of the local chapter and the state association has had long-lasting impact.
