Thanks for the helpful update on the Electrical Construction Wiring contest at Utah SkillsUSA! It’s great to see students preparing with a pre‑contest meeting and a code‑based test — a real taste of what industry professionals face. Contestants are reminded to bring their own 2020 codebook and arrive early for the start of the competition.

Tip for future competitors: If you’re planning to take part in this event, make sure you review the National Electrical Code and practice conduit bending and wiring layouts ahead of time — these skills are key to doing well in both the written and hands‑on parts of the contest.

Great job to everyone involved and good luck to all participants — this is an awesome way to build real‑world electrical trade skills!
